Baіlema T. Social Policies of Ukrainian National Governments in 1917 - 1920. (Based on Data from the Podillia Province).

This dissertation covers the insufficient investigations of the domestic historical science and important for the further development of regional history problem of implementation of social policy by the Ukrainian national governments in the period of 1917 - 1920 on territory of the Podillia province. On the basis of system analysis of the historical sources and scientific literature regional features of social policy in the activity of local authorities of Podillia during revolution are clarified, the practice of state help for the socially unprotected categories of the population of Podillia is generalized, the role of government bodies of local self-government and public organizations in the establishment and providing of activity of the system of primary and professional education, health protection, food providing, fight against unemployment and social help for the population of the Podillia province in 1917 - 1920 is summarized.
