Object: professional pedagogical preparation of future foreign languages teachers in high educational establishments; objective: theoretically ground and experimentally check the system of preparation of future foreign languages teachers to diagnostics and correction of schoolchildren’s level of communicative culture; methods: analysis of literature, modelling, analysis of documents interviewing, observation, pedagogical experiment; novelty: the system of preparation of future teachers of foreign language to diagnostics and correction of schoolchildren’s level of communicative culture was grounded; criteria, indices were defined, the levels of formation of preparedness of students to this activity were characterised; results: the programs of special courses “Pedagogical diagnostics of level of schoolchildren’s communicative culture”, ‘Pedagogical correction of level of schoolchildren’s communicative culture” were worked out; field – theory and methodology of professional education
