Osadcha L. Social communication as an object of the philosophy analysis

The key meanings of the concept in linguistics, semiotics, social theory and discourse analysis have been analysed. It has been noted that in different contexts this concept has different meanings, therefore the analysed concept must be based on inter-subject approach using widest possible panoramic area, which culture as people's lifestyle actually is. The consistency of highlighting the discourse aspect of culture is based on the following logics of disclosing this topic: the measure of the social is a link between an individual as a carrier of unique personal characteristics and the general, which is culture with its obligatory norms and settled traditions in relation to this individual. The social element arises when an individual meets the Different and opens to it, realising his being different, but at the same time belonging to the mankind.
