Andriiv E. Mobilization of the labor population of Galicia by Nazi Germany (1941 – 1944)

Object: nazi policy on bringing in and use of able-bodied citizens of Galychyna in industry and agriculture of Germany in the Second World War-time. Purpose: to consider the problem of labor mobilization of able-bodied citizens of District Galychyna in the years of German occupation (1941 – 1944). Methods: questioning, comparison, generalization, analysis, synthesis, statistical. Results: a division into periods of processes of bringing in of population of Galychyna is offered to the system of the forced labor, labor mobilization and attitude toward Galychyna Ukrainians in Germanium, maintenance of concept “Voluntarily workers” is specified and terms are inculcated “institute of the forced labor” and “volunteers, forced by the circumstances of war-time” (forced volunteers). Sphere of the use: in the educational programs of the special courses from history of Ukraine and Second World War.
