Matkivskiy R. Morphology of sciatic nerve and its microcirculatory at normal condition and at the experimental diabetes mellitus

Object – diabetic neuro- and microangiopathies of the sciatic nerve of rat; purpose – to study the peculiarities of hemomicrocirculatory riverbed morphology, neuroarchitectonics of sciatic nerve at norm and at the experimental streptozotocin-induced diabetes mellitus; methods – experimental, biochemical, histological, roentgenological, injectional, electron microscopical, morphometrical, statistical; the results – the sizes of internal diameters of all parts of microcirculatory bed, quantitative and group composition of endoneural capillaries were determined in a norm, the qualitative features and quantitative distribution of myelin nervous fibers of sciatic nerve were discovered in rats; in the process of development of experimental diabetes mellitus the qualitative restructuring of vessels walls, their quantitative changes as the signs of development of the diabetic microangiopathy and neuropathy are marked; branch – medicine.
