Gorbatiuk M. Sociopolitical activity of Andrii Nikovskyi (1885-1942)

The object of research: A. Nikovskyi figure against the backdrop of historical events of the first quarter of the twentieth century, his individual characteristics and peculiarities. The aim of research: the basic directions and historical social and political consequences of A. Nikovskyi against the backdrop of socio-political processes in Ukraine in 1905-1930. The subjec of research: A. Nikovskyi becoming outlook, its socio-political, cultural, educational, scientific and analytical work, ideological and theoretical and practical contribution to the Ukrainian National Movement, participated in the formation of the Ukrainian press. The methods of research: problem-chronological, comparative-historical, retrospective, biographic. The results of research and novelty: pioneered complex study of the lifeway, sociopolitical, cultural-educational, publicistic, publishing and scientific activity of A. Nikovskyi. The participation of A. Nikovskyi in the work of Ukrainian political and state institutions in the 1917-1921 was highlighted in greater detail. A. Nikovskyi's considerable contribution in the state building process and development of Ukrainian national consciousness was grounded. The sphere of usage: the further research of the current subject, writing of the synthesis works, manuals, reading of the high school courses on the history of Ukraine.
