Essay

The object of study – psychological well-being. The purpose of study: theoretical-empirical definition of self-regulation as factor of psychological well-being at student's youth. The methods: the theoretical analysis of the literature, ordering and generalization, modeling, psychodiagnostic methods, correlation and quasiexperimental plans of research, methods of descriptive, correlation, cluster, factor, dispersive analysis, analysis of reliability. Novelty: for the first time understanding in five aspects of psychological well-being it is offered; for the first time integrative personality model of self-regulation is offered; the theoretical representations about the contents of concept and structure of personality potential due to definition of a role of understanding for this construct are profound; the interrelations of self-regulation system and psychological well-being are specified: is revealed, that the self-regulation system is most interconnected to resource and productive aspects of psychological well-being; the representation about self-regulation as the factor of psychological well-being is extended: is revealed, that than the self-regulation system is better generated, the above level of psychological well-being. The practical value of research is determined by expansion of methodical toolkit of diagnostics of psychological well-being and self-regulation: by development of a questionnaire "The personality potential and satisfaction by life"; the results, received in research, can be introduced into courses of lectures for preparation of the psychologists, are used in practical psychology. Efficiency of the introduction - high. The sphere of the use: higher educational institutions, psychological services.
