Object: the process of training teachers to use maintenance work of artistic crafts; aim: theoretical introduction of pedagogical models for teacher training conditions for use maintenance work of art crafts in the educational process and experimental verification of their effectiveness; methods: theoretical, empirical (observation, questionnaires, interviews, discussions, diagnosis, creative tasks), statistical; novelty: grounded theoretically a model of a system of pedagogical conditions of maintenance work training teachers to use art crafts in the profession, criteria and indicators (art awareness in students studied art crafts, psychological adjustment to address the creative, educational and educational goals through artistic handicrafts: weaving, embroidery and manufacturing of traditional dress, the methodical use of professional awareness of artistic crafts), levels (search and creative, potentially possible, satisfactory and inadequate) maintenance work training teachers to use art crafts are grounded; specified educationally the educational functions and features of the art crafts: weaving, embroidery, making the traditional dress in the process of professional training of teachers maintenance work, content of teacher training and features of maintenance work; results: the results of thesis research can be used in the educational process of higher education in preparing teachers to use maintenance work of art crafts, as well as in writing a diploma, graduate and dissertations; sphere - theory and methodology of the professional education.
