Korynevska I. Modern technologies in diagnostic and determination of management tactic in children with blunt trauma of solid abdominal organs.

Object: blunt isolated trauma of spleen, liver, pancreas in children. The aim: development of the differentiated management tactic (including laparoscopy) depending on the severity of the injury of solid organs. Methods: general clinical, laboratory, instrumental, mathematical statistics. Novelty: it was first well-proven that only the complex estimation of results of the examination allows to determine the grounded indications to choose the conventional or surgical treatment; first the well-determined indications to the use of miniinvasive methods in treatment of children with blunt abdominal trauma were presented; the algorithms of diagnostic and management depending on the severity of the injury of organs were suggested. Results: the results of treatment of children was improved, the amount of postsurgical complications (in particular, adhesive disease) was decreased, the duration of staying in clinic was reduced. It was shown that laparoscopic technique for preserving surgical treatment of the injuried spleen can be used. Introduction: in academic activity and clinical practice. Field: pediatric surgery.
