The object of the dissertation is the I-the Other relationship. The aim of the dissertation paper is to form, within the framework of psychoanalytical discourse, a philosophical conception of inner sociality based on the idea of the dynamic interaction between the inner world and social reality and useful for investigating social processes. The methods: a comparative and critical analysis for the ultimate purpose of clarification. The practical application: to provide a broader perspective on the theoretical and imperative basis for an integrated analysis of the problem of relationship between I and the Other in the contemporary philosophy. The results of this research could be used in the development and substantiation of psychoanalytic model of relationship of I and the Other within the framework of socio-philosophical theory. The practical significance of this PhD thesis consists in the possibility of using the investigation materials in developing lecture courses on the problems of social philosophy. The dissertation is devoted to the interpretation of the dynamics of the I and the Other relationship brought to view through the interaction of inner and outer sociality. Interpretation of the immanent philosophical potential of the object relations theory provides psychoanalytical conceptualisation of mechanisms mediating the interaction of the worlds of inner and outer sociality. A terminological apparatus has been developed for the study of the I and the Other relationship dynamics, based on the notion of unconscious phantasy and the inner object. Within inner sociality, I and Self are differentiated as phantasy complexes connected with the integrating core and inner object relations. The mechanisms of projective identification are realised through the interrelationship of containing, communication and evacuation. They are instrumental in interpreting the dissipation of Self in the world of social reality. The process of identification determines the formation and change in a set of identities.
