Dissertation is devoted to the questions of remaining resource of basket of passenger car for the set external environments. In work research factors which influence on the change of geometrical parameters (controls points) of basket of passenger car. It allowed to develop the new methods of estimation of resource of basket of passenger car depending on the summarizing parameters of estimation of resource of transporting machines under various conditions exploitations. On the basis of the got conformities to the law of estimation of resource of basket of passenger car, the method of prognostication of term of service of basket, which takes into account his individual features, is developed. Developed program for the automated calculation and prognostication of remaining resource of basket of passenger car. Experimental verification of theoretical positions is conducted on determination and prognostication of remaining resource of basket of passenger car. It is drawn on got results scientifically by the production enterprise of "Carsys" - official dealer of firm of Вosch, as perspective for introduction at work of autoservices enterprises.
