The thesis is devoted to complex research of comprehensive schools teachers of UkrSSR of the post-war period (1945-the second half of the 1950ths), their social status and everyday life. The paper is based on wide range of published and archival sources. The influence and consequences of World War II on changes in teachers staff , personnel, material and technical security of comprehensive schools in conditions of post-war ruin and residual principle of education financing are considered. The research paper examines social and economical aspects of school teachers everyday life, the conditions of their life and its quality, influence on social status and social security of teachers
