The subject of research is ssocial relations that arise under the previous criminal trial judge. The purpose of the research is to develop theoretical principles and practical recommendations for improving the process of criminal proceedings by bringing psychological knowledge. Methods of research are general specific, juridical and psychological methods of research. Scientific novelty - open juridical and psychological features of the previous stage of the criminal trial judge, set a general psychological and socio-psychological features of the judge and other participants at the previous stage of the criminal trial, given the fundamental characteristics of subjects and objects prior criminal trial case and others. Practical importance: is the need is proof of incorporation of juridical and psychological features in the previous stage of the criminal trial judge, in developing practical recommendations for judges to use psychological knowledge to the previous stage of the criminal trial, and others. Subject and degree of implementation: results of the research are applied in: the practice of courts and in the educational process. Efficiency of implementation: acts of implementation bear out positive assessment of application of research results. Sphere of appliance is law enforcement and educational process for improved prosecution of criminal cases.
