Medved'ko O. Organizational-administrative functions and authorities of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

Legal status of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine is considered in the thesis as well as problems and ways of its strengthening taking into account national traditions and foreign practice. The author researches the role of the Prosecutor General as the head of the Prosecutor’s System and Prosecutor General’s office, character of his administrative authorities inside the system and in relations with other public bodies. The role of administrative acts of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine both of normative-legal and individual-legal character in administration of Public Prosecutor’s office is researched in the dissertation. Their scientific classification is also suggested in the work. Certain suggestions as to introduction of changes and amendments to the legislation in force, Acts of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and practice of their enforcement have been made by the author.
