Fedorchenko I. Ukrainian national character as a factor of the state formation

The thesis is devoted to the study of the establishment and development processes of the national character of Ukrainian people and to the analysis of the specificity of Ukrainian national character influence on the state formation processes. The author substantiates the definition of Ukrainian national character, describes the main functions of the national character the presence of which gives the possibility to provide the stability of Ukrainian society and its ability to resist the external destructive influences and to give the adequate answers to the "challenges of time". He provides the analysis of different degrees and forms of national character manifestation which cause the force and efficiency of the persons' national character influence on the state formation processes.
