Based on a wide range of sources and historical literature a comprehensive study of cultural and educational institutions state during the German-Romanian occupation of Southern Ukraine is undertaken in the thesis. State of educational institutions of various levels and scientific establishments is characterized; development of film and radio broadcasting and theatre arts during occupation regime is analyzed; state of media, museums and libraries is researched as well.
