Essay

In the dissertation is investigated institutional conditionality transformation of gender relations. Grounded systemic nature of social transformations and revealed the role of government, religion, family, property, education, rituals and rules in the institutionalization of specific historical types of gender relations. Socio-philosophical research contradictory unity of male and female in their social and cultural being allowed to prove fruitful understanding of gender relations as a co-existence of the opposite. In this context, revealed heuristic potential categories of traditional Chinese philosophy - "Yin Yang". It is proved that the whole system of social institutions of society condition implementation in the public consciousness and embodiment in everyday practice a certain type of gender relations. Study of transformation of gender relations in Chinese society, carried out in the context of the evolution of cultural and philosophical traditions of China, allowed the author to identify and describe the social processes and trends, evidence of fundamental changes occurring in the gender system of modern Chinese society. It is proved that for the practical implementation of the present demographic and gender policy of the PRC require a comprehensive program of gender education, aimed at creating a new culture of gender relations based on gender sensitivity and tolerance.
