Filatova I. Diagnostics and prediction of professional availability to railway dispatchers work.

The dissertation is dedicated to the development of methods for psychodiagnostics and prediction of a human professional availability to railway dispatchers' work. The thesis incudes theoretical justification, methodical background and results of empirical investigation of this issue. Psychological features of professional availability formation to operator's work of dispatcher type are studied. They are developed the content and structure of dispatchers' psychological professionally important qualities, the significance of psychological type as integrating psychological function than influence on efficiency and reliability of professional work. It was developed the method to select informative psychological professionally important qualities of railway dispatchers, proposed quantitative measure for psychological type assessment, shown that the high validity of the prediction models for dispatchers professional availability could be achieved under condition to use not only psychophysiological indices that are set by current normative and methodical regulations, but also indices of psychological typology.
