Essay

In the thesis scientific and pedagogical views of S.A. Lytvynov have been analyzed and systematized, content and main directions of the scientist's educational and scientific work have been analyzed and generalized. Based on the studies of biographical, social, educational, historical and chronological factors, scientific periodization of the scientist's educational activities has been developed. Four periods of his activities have been singled out and described: 1st period - search and propaedeutical work (1916 - 1939), 2nd period - administrative and teaching work (1939 - 1951), 3rd period - educational and pedagogical work (1951 - 1978), 4th period - synthesis (1978 - 1982).
