Chenbaj I. Orphans and Parentally Deprived Children's Family Forms of Upbringing Formation and Development (40-s of XX cent. - early XXI cent.)

The research is dedicated to the historical and pedagogical analysis of development and formation process of orphans and parentally deprived children's family forms of upbringing in Ukraine since 40-s of the XX century till early of the XXI century. On the basis of theoretical generalization of archive evidence and published materials, scientific literature studying and statistical information the author highlights the historical development and formation of such forms as: adoption, care, patronage, foster family, children house of family type. In the historic retrospective the author has investigated the questions of social and pedagogical work organization with families where orphans and children deprived of parental care are bringing-up, the author has performed the comparative analysis of the demands to families, which take care of these children since 40s till nowadays. The author characterized the branches of non-governmental organizations' activities during different historical periods, which performed the programmes realization of family forms of up-bringing support.
