Vakhula M. Roman Shukhevych - military and political leader of Ukraine.

The dissertation has investigated comprehensive analyses of the Supreme Commander of the UPA - R. Shukhevych's life and his activity in the context of Ukrainian national Resistance movement in 30-s-40-s of the XXth century. The great attention is paid to the contents, forms and directions of his activity. The process of evolutions of R. Shukhevych's world view, his operations which became important in the activity and history of the OUN and UPA are analysed. The psychological portret of the Supreme Commander of the UPA is presented. At gives the opportunity to understand better the motif of his activity and the running of investigative historical processes as well. The place of R. Shukhevych in country's military and political history.
