Essay

The thesis analyzes the territorial differences of intensity and features of modern karst denudation within the Volyn Polesia. Morfodynamic and morphometric parameters of surface karst form on the key areas are investigated. Karst denudation volumes for individual parts of the region are calculated. Areas of higher engineering and environmental risks associated with the development of karst are revealed. The new scheme of karstological division into districts of Volyn Polesia is developed.
