Renda A. The Kames of Volyn Polissya and their rational use.

The main phase of formation of these forms is connected with the stagnation stage and degradation of dead ice masses within the zones of increased ice crackingness and ice compression. The latter were inherited from the stage of the activity of ice cover and associated with the planned configuration of ice structures, as well as morphology of the irregularities of the glacial bed. The concept of kames formation in wide areas of dead ice masses had not been confirm. Based on morphology and geological structure data we had substantiated the scientific and educational value of kames e as a relict formation and a typical Polissya landscape. The possibility of the conservation and the protection of some forms of kames relief and their geological sections as natural monuments of local importance, as well as integrated landscape reserves of local importance have been considered. We had indicated that kames of Volyn Polissya have a significant geo tourism potential. The recommendations on rational use and protection of kames forms have been made.
