Essay

Volyn Upland in geomorphological context is heterogeneous territory, some parts of which have relief features that liken them to neighboring geomorphological regions and distinguish them from the rest of the upland. During the dissertation research, an attempt has been made to identify spatial differences in the geomorphological structure of the Volyn Upland, to establish their origin and current development trends, and to detail the geomorphological zoning of the upland taking into account these differences. The conclusions have been based on the results of numerous studies, the key of which were a detailed morphometric analysis of the Volyn Upland, the use of a number of methods to assess the impact of neotectonic activity on the topography of the study area, the study of river valleys and relict landforms.
