Based on paleopedological and geoarcheological information the natural conditions of human habitation in the late Pleistocene-Holocene within modern Livoberezhnodniprovskyi forest-steppe were reconstructed. Methodology of micromorphological studies of upper Pleistocene and Holocene sediments was detailed, based on this the main structural units of micromorphological structure were revealed. The authenticity of the results is confirmed by own comprehensive paleopedological research
