Philosophical analysis of the contradictions between innovative technologies and traditional teaching methods, unification and pluralism of phenomenon of the formation of methodological culture on the basis of project work has been carried out. The fundamental possibility of the efficient implementation of the project method into the educational process is proved. The targets and the tasks of methodological culture's becoming on the basis of project activities are grounded. The principles of improvement of modern teacher's professional mastership due to the introduction of the project method into the educational process - consistency, adequacy, efficiency, personal orientation, the need for, diversity - are proposed.
