Object: school health culture in socio-cultural process; objective: to ground the socially-pedagogical basis of elementary school pupils’ health culture formation theoretically and to verify it experimentally; methods: literature analysis, summarizing, pedagogical experiment, mathematical statistics; novelty: socially-pedagogical basis of health culture formation of elementary school pupils was theoretically grounded for the first time; model of a primary school pupil health culture was developed; scientific understanding of health culture formation of the younger generation as the direction of social-pedagogical activities have been further developed; concept-category set of the investigated problem, forms and methods of socially-pedagogical work with younger students in the context of health culture were improved; results: realization of socially-pedagogical basis and technology implementation of the outlined problem in elementary school showed its effectiveness; field – social pedagogic.
