Essay

The complex studying of the pedagogical heritage of Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi from the viewpoint of formation of teacher professionalism in general and primary school teacher professionalism in particular is realized. The integral model of the primary school teacher professionalism based on three fundamental categories of his pedagogical system (word, beauty, nature) is elaborated. The ways, means and methods of V. Sukhomlynskyi's activity as a principal directed to the professional growth of teachers is described. The archival materials revealing the technology of V. Sukhomlynskyi's work during attending and analyzing lessons have been introduced.
