The dissertation is devoted to studying of the personality's role in the value paradigm of society in transition. Here is defined the role of personality in building a civil society and the most essential components of the modern concept of personality as a value of civil society, and the trends regarding implementation of a person in the society in transition. Here is substantiated the need of development a general social paradigm of values in the context of transition, which unites humanity and transforms it into a new global integrity, that is characterized by unity of communication and information factors.
