Osipova J. Psychological Factors of Developing Preparedness of the Heads of Internal Affairs Authorities for Management Activity

The thesis research is concerned with theoretical and practical aspects of developing psychological preparedness of the heads of the Internal Affairs departments for management activity. Existing concepts and approaches to the notion of psychological preparedness are analyzed, as well as psychological contents of management activity in the Internal Affairs system and peculiarities of diagnostics and development of psychological preparedness for management activity. Components of psychological preparedness for management activity in the Internal Affairs system and the structure thereof are determined. Information model of professional manager is created. The system of developing individual preparedness for management activity in the Internal Affairs authorities is developed and put into practice of the Psychological Support Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and teaching process of Management Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
