Essay

This thesis considers features character and content of the border policy using Rome armed forces in the central-east Europe in the I-III century A.D. Basic stages of the new building east – European limeses and their role in the multifunational system of the Rome mutnal relations with varvar tribes were described in this thesis. Except this was exposed role and character of the vice gerency and military unions in limes’s defence and funetional organization of the joined territories. It were investgated the reasons and the Rome changes character of the border and military policy in the middle of the II-III century A.D.
