In this work the main factors of development of N. L. Zinzendorf's pedagogical ideas and formation of his civil position are cleared up; the directions of civil and educational activity of this pedagogue and the Brothers' union of Germany ("Unitas fratrum") in the early part of the 18th century are detailed and substantiated; the pedagogical viewpoints of N. L. Zinzendorf are studied and the main idea of his pedagogical creative work during the years 1723-1760 is cleared up; foundation process of educational and upbringing institutions, founded by N. L. Zinzendorf is investigated; the peculiarities of organization of educational and upbringing process of the founded schools (1723-1760) are characterized.
