Abdulla A. Politics and event of truth: actuality of social philosophy of А. Badiou

The object of the research is socio-political orientation of the project of systematic philosophy A. Badiou. The aim of the thesis - the disclosure of the relevance of social philosophy of A. Badiou on the basis of critical analysis of his views on the relationship of politics and events of the truth. Methods: a combination of existential and hermeneutic methods, the use of comparative approach, the principle of synchrony and structural-functional approach. The novelty of the thesis is that it first on the level of socio-philosophical conceptualisation investigates the relevance of the contemporary French philosopher Alain Badiou's social philosophy in connection between politics and events of the truth. Key findings and conclusions of the thesis can be used as a methodological basis for studying the creative work of A. Badiou and developing the basis concepts of social philosophy. The practical significance lies in the possibility of using the material of the thesis in the course of preparation of lectures on social philosophy, history of social - political philosophy, political science, sociology.
