The Thesis is devoted to the Issues of Region Development Strategic Planning and its Social-Geographical Aspects. In the Thesis the Theoretical and Methodological Approaches to the Region Development Strategic Planning were covered; the Implementation by the Ukrainian Regions the Strategic Planning Approach was explored; the Algorithm of the Investigation of Social-Geographical Spatial Potential during Region Development Strategic Planning the was developed and the Research according the Algorithm was made; the Poles of Growth of the Vinnitsa Oblast was picked out. The SWOT-Analysis, Scenarios of Development of the Economy of Vinnitsa Oblast was made. The Principles of Strategic Management of the Region Development were determined.
