The dissertation thesis is focused on systematic study of theoretical and practical problems of forming and providing managers' professional development in international business. The role of the transnational corporations head officers is analyzed in terms of their competitiveness in modern business environment. The research of correlation between financial expenditures connected with personnel development and capitalization of transnational corporations is conducted. The international, intercultural and national aspects of manager's professionalism development in international business are outlined. Key factors for managers' professional development in international business are revealed. The influence of international companies' corporate culture on executives' professional development is examined. Systematization of key development events shaping managers' development is elaborated. The strategic role of organization in professional development of managers in conditions of internationalization of Ukrainian enterprises is highlighted. The essential usage of differentiated assessment (prognosis) of economic effectiveness of organizational expenditures connected with individual managers' professional development is indicated. The methodology of assessment of readiness of managers for usage of executive experience in cross-cultural environment is elaborated. The logic of implementation of cycle-phased approach to the management of the process of the professional development of managers of international companies in the today's business is grounded.
