Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of united upbringing the primary schoolchildren's moral qualities and developing their physical skills at the lessons of physical training. The aim of the work is to found theoretically and to test experimentally the methods and ways of realizing the principle of unity of the junior schoolchildren's physical and moral education at the lessons of physical training. The organizing-pedagogical model containing three components: organizing pedagogical activity, purposefulness of pedagogical actions and their content has been worked out for the very first time. The first one involves the principal methods applied in pedagogical activity (playing, sport-playing), the forms of its organization (lesson of physical training) and methods of performing the exercises (individual-competitive and team). The work reveals two aspects of purposefulness of pedagogical actions, in particular: selective upbringing purposefulness of physical skills and moral qualities; components of general purposefulness, included to the content of pedagogical process and characterizing particular ways of education (cognitive, motivating and emotional, practical and active, corrective and estimating). The content of sport-playing and playing means which are important for the junior children's thorough education, system of controlling and estimating the junior schoolchildren's physical skills and moral qualities at the lessons of physical training have been supplemented.
