Skoryk A. Centrifuge device for removing suspended solid from water

In work the following results were received: The efficiency of application of clarifying centrifuges for removal from water of the suspended solid is proved; mathematical model of the process of removing suspended solid from water in clarifying centrifuge, taking into account the effect of cleaning and power of de-vice of technological and constructive parameters, the constructive decisions of submission and removal of clarified water, the way of water flow in sections cen-trifuge and washed particles stuck that settled from the surface deposition; the rec-ommendations for determination of reasonable technological and constructive pa-rameters of clarifying centrifuge device which provide the necessary effect of sus-pended solid removal with minimal energy costs are developed. Reliability of the results of theoretical studies confirmed satisfactory convergence with experimental data. Research results and developed recommendations adopted for implementa-tion in ME "VTP "Voda" of Kharkov-city and used in the development of the insti-tute OJSC "Kharkiv Vodokanalproekt".
