Essay

Dissertation deals with the rang of theoretical and methodological principles and methods of social geographic research of influence of industry on the social sphere of region in the conditions of market economy. The level of industrial and social development of the Vinnytsya area is determined. Interrelations between the levels of industrial and social development of administrative districts and cities of the Vinnytsya area are found out. The system of diagnostic parameters of efficiency of functioning of industrial production is improved. The basic directions of increase of level of region's social development in the context of development of industrial production are grounded from the point of view of geographical positions.
