Essay

Functioning of children's subculture of the second half of XXth - the beginning of the XXIst centuries on basis of a wide range of the archival sources and scientific studies of ethnology of childhood are researched in this thesis. Components of the children's subculture, the dynamics of changes of children's values, folk achievements and playing complex are determined. Formation of the ethnic stereotypes and value system through the existence of the children's folklore and children's toys as the components of the children's subculture are defined. The main types of the children's pastime in the structure of everyday life are analyzed. The existence of the children's games as a means of preserving the ethnic culture is described. The kinds of vision concepts and beliefs of children as a way of ethnic consciousness are characterized. The influence of the traditional culture especially festive-ritual culture on the formation of ethnic identity of the child is discovered.
