Essay

The study defined the essence of political prisoners struggle against Soviet totalitarianism, it revealed the basic stages and characteristic features of the Ukrainian resistance movement in Soviet prison camps in the 40's - first half 50's ХХ c. Thesis analyzed the role of Ukrainians in the processes of disobedience of political prisoners during Stalin period and during the uprisings in Norilsk, Vorkuta and Kenhir in 1953-1954.
