Essay

This thesis deals with all-round research of the history of military schools in Ukraine from their setting up to shutting down. Basic stages of the activity of these military educational institutions on Ukraine’s territory have been described through profound analysis and systematization of numerous original sources. Teaching and education at military schools have been interpreted with critical attitude, the importance of teachers at military schools in improving cadets’ school achievements has been retraced.
