Thesis research is devoted the problem of preparation of future social teachers to consultative activity in the process of study of professional disciplines. Among leading approaches as to the problem of preparation of future social teachers in a pedagogical theory, it was defined the essence and the features of consulting in the system of social-pedagogical activity. It was represented the characteristic of preparation of future social teachers to consultative activity in the higher educational establishments. It was described the content of preparation of future social teachers to consultative activity in the process of study of professional disciplines. It was also defined criteria, indices, levels and readiness of future social teachers to consultative activity. It was theoretically concretized and experimentally controlled teachers' pedagogical conditions, which provide the formation of readiness of future social teachers to consultative activity in the process of study of professional disciplines.
