Essay

The object of research: functional condition of basic sows and replacement sows and morphofunctional condition of their reproductive system. The aim of the research: is in improvement of complex diagnosis of cystic affections of gonads of sows and methods of therapy under this pathology under the conditions of pork production. Methods of research: clinical, morphomethric, histologic, biochemical, hormone, cytologic, statistic. Scientific innovation: The diagnosis of cystic affections of sows has been used for the first time, diagnostic tests of follicular and lutein ovarian cysts of sows have been developed. Under the conditions of meat processing plants of Sumy oblast has been provided an after slaughtering diagnosis of pathologic changes of ovaries of basic and replacement sows and under the conditions of pig enterprises has been studied clinical and morphologic rates of follicular and lutein cysts of sows under anaphrodisia and nymphomania. Methods of estimation of cellular composition for vaginal smears have been improved and the biochemical and hormone rates of blood and cystic liquid under follicular and lutein cysts has been studied. Therapeutic and economic effectiveness of treatment of sows with follicular and lutein ovary cysts and dynamics of changes in metabolic rates of blood before and after implementation of pharmacologic aids have been studied for the first time in comparative aspect. Level of implementation: the researches made have made it possible to improve and present differential and diagnostic tests which will help veterinaries under the conditions of pig farms to diagnose cystic affections. The effective methods of therapy for sows under follicular and lutein ovary cysts has been presented. It will positively influence economic rates of pig enterprises.
