An object is legal legitimation of policy. The purpose of dissertation consist in research the legal component of the legitimacy of the policy of modern society. Methods are the theoretical communicative approach, methodology of interpretive sociology, structural and functional analysis of the regulatory approach and practical philosophy. The novelty of dissertation is determined by that in here the socially-philosophical analysis of the rule of law. Exactly the rule of law can serve one of the fundamental principles that legitimates the policy. The practical value of work consists in possibility of drawing on the results of dissertation work as a theoretical and methodological base for realization of philosophical, sociological, jurisprudence researches of legal legitimation of policy. Conclusions the researches done as a result can be drawn on at preparation of courses of social philosophy, special courses on philosophy of law, political philosophy.
