Essay

Research object: physiological and biochemical proceses in bull ejaculates and spermatozoa. Purpose of researches: to study the physiological characteristics of bull ejaculetes in connection with the intensity of redox processes, activity of enzymes of antioxidant protection and the content of lipoproteins, relationship beetween named indexes, impact of natural antioxidants on stability of lipoprotein complexes, survival and fertilizing ability. Research methods: physiological, biochemical, statistics. Scientific novetlty: first studied the physiological characteristics of bull ejaculetes in connection with the intensity of redox processes, activity of enzymes of antioxidant protection and the content of lipoproteins and products of oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids. The connections between spepm lipoproteins with activity of antioxidant enzymes, redox processes in sperm and fertilizing ability of spermatozoa are studied. The impact of redused form of glutatione and ascorbic acid, and their combination in ejaculate diluent on formsng of lipoprotein complexes, the activity of enzymes of antioxidant protection intensity of redox processes, survival and fertilizing ability of spermatozoa were studied. Degree of introduction: improved method for increasing the preservance of spermatozoa to factors of external environment "Method of protection bull spermatozoa in case of freezing" - provides increasing the survival of sex cells on 18,5% and fertilizing ability on 11,7%, after first insemination of cows. The results of studies are implemented in SWC "Zachidplemresurcy" and in the learning process in faculties of Lviv's national university of veterinary medicine and biotechnology named after S.Z.Hzhytskiy, national agrarian university in Sumy, state agrarian university in Odessa. Sphere (industry) of use: veterinary medicine.
