Burmaka O. Pharmacognostical studies of overground parts of Trifolium pratense Wigg. and elaborating of methods biological active compounds analysis

This dissertation is devoted to pharmacognostical studies of overground parts of Trifolium pratense and elaborating methods of analyzes of biological active compounds (BAC). The qualitative composition and quantitative contents of the basic group BAC in flowers of Trifolium pratense were investigated. 50 substances of flowers were identifie, 6 isoflavonoids were isolated and their structures were determined. Modern methods of the analysis of Trifolium pratense BAC were developed and the comparative analysis of their contents in flowers was carried out. Projects of the Method of Quality Control for raw materials "Trifolium flowers", "Trifolium flowers tincture", "Trifolium flowers dry extracts" were developed. It was established, that extracts of flowers of Trifolium pratense is practically nontoxic and has hyppolipidemic and antioxidative activities. The opportunity of using isoflavonoids, contained in flowers of a Trifolium pratense, as a marker of a Trifilium flowers at analysis of plant mixtures was shown.
