Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of science-based technology of polyionic solutions with glucose and malate ions for infusion therapy. The solutions contain ions of sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, acetate and malate ("Yonoacetomalate") as well as glucose ("Yonoacetomalate with glucose"). Complex investigations of technological factors affecting the stability of solutions (temperature, pH of environment, stabilizers, light, container, etc.) have been carried out. The best values of the medium reaction (pH from 5.00 to 5.50) and the sterilization regimens (110 °C for 30 min for solution with glucose and 120 °C for 15 min for solution without glucose) based on the obtained results have been selected. Glucose decomposition in infusion polyelectrolyte solution has been investigated. Optimum concentration of stabilizers for the solution "Yonoacetomalate with glucose" (0.02 % sodium metabisulfite with 0.01 % sodium edetate) has been determined. The manufacturing technology (production) of the solution under investigation was suggested and the main critical points of the technological process have been found out.
