The dissertation is a research of military and political public activity of M.Omelyanovich-Pavlenko (1878 - 1952) in Ukrainian national liberation struggle of the first decade of XX century. It displays his activity in warfare of Russo-Japanese War and the First World War, also taking part in combat operations of military UNR and WUNR force as a leader in 1918 - 1920. The work is about political public activity in Poland, Germany, Czech-Slovak Republic, France. Paper analyzes historical military activities of M. Omelyanovich-Pavlenko in the war history of Ukraine in XX century. It demonstrates the value of political and innovational experience of M. Omelyanovich-Pavlenko in the process of Ukrainian state formation.
