Teluha S. Church-administrative and socio- political activities of metropolitan Anthony (Khrapovitsky) in diocese of Kharkov (May 1914 – June 1918)

The object of the research: history of Orthodox Church in Ukraine in beginning of ХХ century. The purpose of the dissertation consists in complex research of the main directions and forms of church-administrative and  socio-political activities of Anthony (Khrapovitsky) during a management of diocese of Kharkov since May 1914 till June 1918. Methods: analysis, synthesis, historical, logic, problem-chronological, diachronous, historical-system, historical-comparative. Scientific novelty: on the basis of wide source base for the first time in domestic historiography the attempt of complex research of church-administrative and socio-political activity of Anthony (Khrapovitsky) during his service on the Kharkov cathedra is made. The practical value of the dissertation: the materials and conclusions of the dissertation can be used by development of lecture courses "History of Ukraine ", "Study of religion lore", "Study of local lore", special courses on a history of Orthodox Church and state-church relations in Ukraine. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions.
