Object of the research: wall of the small intestines, border enterocytes, goblet exocryno-cytes, blood vessels, ultrastructure of cells of mucous tunic, chemical composition of small intestines of rats in normal conditions and under the conditions of influence of different combi-nations of salts of heavy metals. Aim of the research is to determine appropria-tenesses of morphological and readaptative changes in small intestine of mature rats under influence of different combinations of salts of heavy metals (iron, zinc, copper; lead, man-ganese, copper; lead, zinc, chromium), and also results of correction of the revealed changes by modern home-produced preparation “Glutar-gin”. Methods of research: anatomical (macroscopic estimation of state of mucose tunic of small intestine), microscopy of tissue of small intestine, morphometry of histological preparations, elec-tronic microscopy of cells to determine their fun-ctional state, quantitative estimation of indexes of chemical composition (spectrophotometry) of small intestine, statistic proceeding of the nu-merical data. Theoretical and practical value of the obtained results: The research allowed us to study in detail morphological changes of tissue of small intestine and possibilities of its regeneration after influence of salts of heavy metals which contain in surplus amount in water and soil of some districts of Sumy region. Obtained experimental results may be assumed as morpho-logical basis for understanding of changes of physiological processes in the organ and used in clinical practice of different fields of medicine. Possibility of reparative changes in small intes-tine at usage of metabolic preparation “Glutar-gin” is proved. Scientific newness of obtained results: basic appropriatenesses of morphological and readap-tative changes of small intestine under influence of different combinations of salts of heavy metals on the organism; ultrastructural disorders in small intestine at designed microelementosises of Sumy region were grounded for the first time on experimental material by the use of complex of morphological methods of research. Content of exogenous and some endogenous microele-ments in tissues of small intestine on different terms of subacute experiment was determined; dependence of structural changes of the organ on combination of salts of heavy metals was revealed. Possibility of preparation “Glutargin” for stimulation of readaptative and reparative processes in small intestine at conditions of technogenous microelementosises were were studied and grounded for the first time. Degree of introduction: the results of experi-mental researches were introducted into educa-tional process in higher educational institutions of Ukraine (Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy, Crimea State Medical University, Ternopil State Medical University, Vinnitsa State Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Bukovinian State Medical University, HSEI “Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy”, Lugansk State Medical University, medical faculty of Uzhhorod National University, medical institute of Sumy State University).
